I just bought a 08′ Ford Shelby and it has a Shaker 500 sound system which sounds awesome, but some other Shelby’s have the Shaker 1000…. what makes that one better or different?

its the difference in the “wattage” (both are very over rated, they more than likely put out about half of their advertised wattage), if you were to upgrade to a cheap “real” 500watts system it would blow both of them away
for a factory installed system it sounds very good though

the difference is the output, shaker 500 is 500 watts, shaker 1000 is 1000 watts, that is it pretty much, by the way the 1000 is awesome I got one in my 07 GT
