I have a shaker cup I use twice a day for protein shakes. Whenever I clean it whether by hand or in the dishwasher it smells clean afterwards. But after it dries for a couple hours it starts to smell rank and sour inside. I’m sure that smell is coming from bacteria maybe somehow soaked into the plastic of the cup itself?
How do I clean the cup and get rid of the smell/bacteria safely (so I can continue to use the shaker?). Thank You

Clean it with some white vinegar, let it soak for awhile then rinse well…
use a light bleach solution or vinegar and water
Let it soak in bleach water for a while.
